These are typical market ranges, not our tutors' own rates. Each tutor sets their own rate, so it varies from tutor to tutor. Each figure includes InspireCore's S$10 fee, shown underneath. We confirm the exact rate for each tutor on your shortlist before you choose.
How the Fee Works
One flat fee, shown separately
You pay your tutor's hourly rate plus a flat S$10 per hour to InspireCore. Your tutor's rate goes to your tutor. Our fee covers matching, a dedicated consultant, progress check-ins and a replacement tutor if the fit is wrong.
Worked example
Upper Primary, full-time tutor at S$50/h, one 1.5-hour lesson a week.
Per lesson: tutor S$75 + InspireCore fee S$15 = S$90.
Per month (4 lessons): S$360, of which S$60 is the InspireCore fee.
Questions
Questions about rates
Why is there a separate S$10 fee?
It pays for matching, your dedicated consultant, regular check-ins and finding a replacement tutor if the fit is wrong. Your tutor's rate goes to your tutor, and we show the two amounts separately.
How is the exact hourly rate decided?
Each tutor sets their own rate, based on their experience, qualifications and your child's level, so it varies from tutor to tutor. The table shows typical market ranges as a guide. We confirm the rate for each tutor on your shortlist before you choose.
What do the tutor types mean?
Undergraduate tutors are university students. Full-time tutors teach as their main profession. Ex- or current MOE teachers have taught in Singapore schools under the Ministry of Education.
